About Us
The Insight Club is an independent student club at the American University of Beirut (AUB). Our mission is to provide perspectives on a well-rounded way of living and appreciating life through balancing between physical, intellectual, and spiritual needs. Our events include charity projects, cultural celebrations, and intellectual activities. We aim to provide our members with opportunities to grow and with new dimensions to the diverse AUB experience. We develop our members in various aspects of life. Social, Physical, Academic, Spiritual, and Intellectual.
Our Objectives
Strengthening Certainty In Belief

Our Programs
Our club social life is built on the fact that we are
brothers and sisters in Islam.
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ (الحجرات – 10)
Purpose
The club aims to build bonds between the members and provide them with a safe environment where they can grow with Suhba Saliha. The Insight social life is more likely to be a comfort zone where you can meet friends, create memories, and become closer to Allah.
Strategy
Once you become a part of the Insight family, you cannot deny your favorite game is "find the insightee" on campus! Interactions on the groups are never limited with constant support, shared pictures, and feelings.
Activities
Our social activities take place every now and then: movie night for sisters, ping pong game for brothers, informal gatherings, and many more.
One of the main aims of the club is to strengthen each member Islam through:
Weekly Events
Weekly events such as: Halaka with Sheikh, Quran to read and recite Quran, and intellectual discussions
Islamic Events
Events according to Islamic calendar such as Islamic new year and Ramadan event, night, Tarawih and congregational prayers.
Intellectual Discussions
Discussions and activities among members to enhance spiritual spirits.

Each made WhatsApp groups to organize sport activities like basketball, swimming, pingpong, volleyball and many other

Intellectual discussions take place every week to discuss and negotiate about very confusing and challenging topics between members and sometimes inviting expertise into the matter.
Our Teams
What does the communication team do?
- They invite new people to be part of the insight family.
- They organise events.
- They help in the decision making process concerning big events.
- They are responsible for parts of the events (usually activities part).
- They are the ones who launch new initiatives.

What does Newsletter team do?
- At the end of every week, unique newsletter full of insight Islamic spirit is sent
- It includes a weekly motivation, Hadith, Duaa and video about a specific theme
- Summary of the club events with memorable pictures
- Announcement of the upcoming events with needed details
What does Events' team do?

The team will be divided to several sub-teams:
- Social media team: help capture the events on Cameras and design the posters and needed designs for the event.
- Treasury team: help buy needed items related to the event.
- Public Relations team: help communicate with public stakeholders.
- Logistics team: help organize the stands and prepare for activities ahead of time.

- Facilitate studies and accessibility to academic information
